The use of our facial protection mask is recommended in the civil and non-medical professional fields. The mask is made of four layers which gives them the following properties: impermeability, reuse, antibacterial, … The organic cotton outer fabric has undergone a ‘waterproof’ treatment to protect the user from postillions and other projections. An antibacterial agent was also applied to the fabric. All treatments have been carried out with non-toxic and environmentally friendly products, you can find them below. The fabrics placed inside the mask are: a polyester lining on which a TNT polyester fusible is applied. Treatment details The cotton fabric used outside has been treated 4 times to be waterproof by the following treatments: AQUAGUARD, AQUAEST, AQUASLIDE, HYGROS 100 and the antibacterial agent T99 – 19 from Sanitized®. AQUAGUARD is included in the list of treatments approved by ‘GLOBAL ORGANIC TEXTILE STANDARD ‘(GOTS). The treatment is at level 1 of the ‘Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chimical’ (ZDHC) certification. The AQUAGUARD is a reaction of the silicone after macro emulsion which results in making the tissue repellent with water. While keeping the softness of the cotton and being breathable. Sanitized® T99 – 19 is an antibacterial agent specially developed for fabrics in direct contact with the skin.
